About
Hello, nice to meet you! I am Arihel van Yura an Italian V-Artist, Digital Artist, Illustrator and Concept Artist graduated from the Rainbow Academy in Rome with the Master in Concept Art.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My artistic journey began as a self-taught artist when I was a teenager through traditional art. I was, as now, fascinated by the Japanese manga and anime style, at the time I drew with pastel colors and ink, however also focusing on semi-realistic portraits and sketches , after years I came to digital art by perfecting my studies at the Rainbow Academy in Rome (Italy).
My digital style is characterized by a juxtaposition of brushstrokes on each other, I often combine the layers and then continue to detail the drawing more and more.
I mostly work on united and subdivided levels: it is a type of digital art that is more reminiscent of traditional painting, which is why it is called "Digital Painting".
I am fascinated by the realistic style. My artistic research focuses on wanting to make the world of fantasy real,
which is why I prefer it with fantasy or magical elements, so the artistic movement in which I see myself is "Magical Realism".
I try to capture emotions by transposing them into a suspended moment of space-time
in which there can be reflection on different themes, as well as on the different feelings that inhabit the soul.

The illustration I drew for the meeting with the author at the "Paolo Catucci" Municipal Library in Massafra, (Friday 19 May 2023) "Inner Child: instructions for use healing with the power of colors" by Samya Ilaria di Donato. As part of the Italian National project: "the May of Books".
The Sound of Silence - Poster - Commission
Here is my illustration of the poster for the presentation of Antonio Caradonio's book "The Sound of Silence", Wednesday 24 May, Massafra World Library Palazzo De Notaristefani, 7 pm (Via Vittorio Veneto, 15). Half Ghost Witch - Commission
Inspiration
An old wives' tale of my hometown says that:
"the medieval castle that overlooks the ravines is haunted by the ghost of a witch"
Concept
A modern half ghost-witch who never had a childhood, imprisoned in a castle. All that remains of her is a shady body that appears on rainy days from the windows of the ancient castle.
Digital illustration commissioned to me by the municipal library of Massafra "Paolo Catucci" which is based in the ancient castle.

By commissioning me, you agree to all Terms of Service.
I reserve the right to refuse a commission. I keep this right if I don’t feel comfortable with it or if I think I will not be able to do the commission 100% perfect. If I am unable to complete your commission you will be informed as soon as possible. I hope you can understand that.
If I see inappropriate behavior I'll cancel the commission. In some cases you'll be excluded from future commissions.
I will need clear references about your character, color palette, poses, personality, elements that are important, ecc...PAYMENTS
Payments must be made in full before I start the commission.

Prices are determined by the amount of work I have to put into an artwork.REVISIONS
3 free revisions: 2 in the sketch process and 1 in the color palette selection.€10 per extra revision/change.Please limit your tweaks. Once you confirm the sketch, please try not to change it further, as once I have started colouring it is hard to go back.I can make two big revisions during the sketch and a small one during the coloring, if you want something changed you have to say it during the sketch to add or remove small or big details.
